JASMINE DOWNER
BA (HONOURS), LRAD, ARAD, RTS, Silver Swans Licensee

Jasmine is dedicated to delivering top-quality training in dance within a nurturing and inspiring learning environment, built on strong technical foundations and creative artistry. As a student, Jasmine trained in Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Acrobatics and Lyrical genres, completing Royal Academy of Dance and British Theatre Dance Association examinations. Jasmine went on to graduate, with a BA (Hons), Registered Teachers status and Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Dance (LRAD) at the Royal Academy of Dance in 2019. Whilst studying in London, Jasmine started her teaching career and took the opportunity to gain experience at four dance schools across South London. In 2019, after graduating, she then relocated to New Zealand with a full time teaching position at a premier dance academy for three and a half years. Whilst freelancing, Jasmine has successfully passed her level 1 teacher training with Rambert Grades, opening another genre for her students to dive into. Since settling back in the UK, Jasmine relocated to Devon from Bournemouth and has now founded Jasmine Dance Academy where she can put her passion and expertise into her own entity.
